Fluoride 

If we find that your child isn’t getting enough fluoride from sources like drinking water and the foods they eat, we may recommend a fluoride varnish. This is an easy process in which we apply a fluoride gel to the surfaces of your child’s teeth with a soft brush.

Studies show that fluoride varnish applied twice a year is highly effective at reducing tooth decay.

Dental Sealants

Application of dental sealants is another important preventive treatment that protects your child’s teeth from decay.

Molars and premolars have uneven surfaces that are hard to clean, leaving them vulnerable to decay. Dental sealants are a thin plastic coating applied to these uneven surfaces to seal out the food particles and bacteria that lead to decay.
